Art at the Museum – Paleo Printmaking

The roots of printmaking start with the primitive notion of making a foot print in sand or earth. These ‘print’s inspired artists and helped them evolve the idea into a complex and exciting medium called printmaking, in which one can make ‘multiple’ images from one carved block. Students can learn to draw dinosaurs and create simple relief carvings to reproduce their images in ink.
