Lecture Series: Bert Hunt, Katalin Ormay, Sheldon Graber and Al Lakusta ‘The First Century of Peace Country Palaeontology’

Bert Hunt, Katalin Ormay, Sheldon Graber and Al Lakusta are founding members of the Palaeontological Society of the Peace (PSP) and palaeontology enthusiasts. Together they have well over fifty years of volunteering in a large number of Peace Region palaeontological discoveries and field work. Dr. Robert (Bert) Hunt, P.Eng., FEC, FGC (Hon.) is an Engineering Instructor at GPRC; Katalin Ormay, B.Sc. (Geology) is a GPRC Library Technician and former Palaeontology Program Coordinator at GPRC; Sheldon Graber, P. Geol., is Vice President and Investment Advisor for RBC, Grande Prairie; Al Lakusta, is a retired teacher and the discoverer of the Pipestone Creek Pachyrhinosaurus Bonebed site. They will show a PowerPoint Presentation (slides) on the history of palaeontology in the Peace Region and how it has progressed over the last century.
