Discover nature with John Acorn “The Nature Nut” at Saskatoon Island Provincial Park!

Prior to his free lecture at the museum, John Acorn “The Nature Nut” will lead a hike at Saskatoon Island Provincial Park near the museum to appreciate and learn about the natural beauty in the area.

Participation in the walk is free of charge, and no pre-registration is necessary. Participants are advised dress for the weather and to bring good walking shoes, a hat, water, and bug spray. Binoculars and cameras are welcome as the group will be on the look-out for wildlife. Children must be accompanies by a parent or guardian.

To participate, meet at Saskatoon Island’s Little Lake trailhead at 11:00am.

*The Nature Walk is weather-dependant, and may be cancelled in the event of rain or dangerous weather conditions.
