Fossil Prep Lab
Interested in rocks and fossils? Willing to get your hands dirty? As a volunteer in the preparation lab, you will get hands on experience working to remove dinosaur fossils from their encasing rock and preserve them for future study. You will get direct instruction on how to prepare fossils from our Assistant Curator as you find out for yourself what lies buried in the rock. We have a wide variety of programs for all ages.Summer Day Camps: July & August; Full day camps available for ages 7-10 and half day camps available for ages 4-6. Swan City Rotary Club Partnership
Are you a non-for-profit groups that is wanting to come out to the Museum, but may not be able to attend due to constraints? The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum and Swan City Rotary Club have partnered together to bring disadvantaged groups or those who otherwise may not be able to attend the museum out for a day trip. The Swan City Rotary Club will cover the cost of transportation, museum admission, guided gallery tour, and a program or National Geographic Film. All eligible organizations are encouraged to fill out an application form and return to Jewels Goff, Education/Outreach Programs Coordinator.
