PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Join us for a tour of the Pipestone Creek bonebed… the origin site of Big Sam, the Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai skull, and the shooting location of Walking with Dinosaurs 2025! The easy/moderate hike will take you up to the bonebed to meet with palaeontologists who will be actively excavating fossils. Beginning at the little museum, the whole experience will take 2 hours, including a stop at the creek to fossil prospect.

PLEASE NOTE Bonebed Tour: Fossils, Floods and Footprints include a walk of approximately 2.5 km. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Safety waivers must be signed by all participants. There are no washrooms available once the walk has begun; please plan accordingly. Tours are limited to a maximum of 15 attendees per tour. Tours are weather-dependent, and may be cancelled in the event of adverse conditions.
