Description

Join us for our final Homeschool Day sessions at the Pipestone Creek Bonebed! Two sessions of Bonebed Tours will be available for Homeschool families. The easy/moderate hike will take you up to the bonebed to meet with palaeontologists who will be actively excavating fossils. The whole experience will take 2 hours, with a stop at the creek to fossil and rock hunt.

What’s Included?
– Hike to the bonebed
– Tour of shed museum (origins of the bonebed)
– Stop at the bonebed and chance to talk with a palaeontologist
– Viewing of the bonebed, actively being excavated
– Stop at the creek to fossil prospect

Important Notes
No younger siblings not registered or wagons/strollers allowed, this is due to space limitations. Children that are in backpacks can attend.

Space is limited to 20 students per session, and we ask that for families with 3 kids or less, only one adult attends, additional adults will need to purchase a ticket. Larger families may have an additional adult. This is not a drop off program. Age restriction is 5 years old and up.
