Palaeo Palooza Bonebed Tours Now Available!

Make your Palaeo Palooza experience even more memorable by adding a guided Bonebed Tour led by our palaeontology team. Bonebed Tours can be purchased with your Palaeo Palooza ticket, and guests who purchase a Palaeo Palooza ticket will save $5 on Bonebed Tour admission.

Tours are available from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on August 8 and 9. Be sure to book online to reserve your spot, as spaces are limited.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1. Can we buy tickets at the door?
Yes, tickets can be purchased in person during Palaeo Palooza. However, we kindly encourage guests interested in Bonebed Tours to pre-register online, as space is limited. Payment for Bonebed Tours can also be made on-site, if needed.
Q2. Is parking free?
Yes, free and accessible parking is available at the museum.
Q3. Where does the shuttle bus depart from?
The shuttle departs from Centre 2000 in Grande Prairie and travels to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Wembley. Please note that Centre 2000's operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays are from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Q4. What should I bring for a Bonebed Tour?
We recommend bringing:
      • Comfortable walking or hiking shoes
      • Water
      • Sunscreen
      • Bug spray
      • A hat
      • A camera
Q5. Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
For accessibility requests or accommodations, please email bookings@dinomuseum.ca, and we will do our best to make appropriate arrangements.
Q6. What happens if the weather is poor? Will Palaeo Palooza still take place?
Yes. Palaeo Palooza will proceed rain or shine. Guests can enjoy indoor exhibits, theatre presentations, fossil preparation demonstrations, Bonebed Tours, and family activities throughout the museum.
