73 million years ago, the Peace Country was a lush forest not far from the sea, home to dozens of species of dinosaurs, lizards, and mammals.

Join us as we celebrate the regions amazing natural history with PALAEO PALOOZA at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum!

Palaeo Palooza is returning August 10th and 11th, 2024!

Join us this August for our 2-Day Science Festival jam-packed with family fun. Enjoy carnival games, science experiments, guest speakers, food stands, dino-themed activities and crafts, scavenger hunts, fossil identification, free bussing, and more. Be sure to check our website and social media channels for more details as they come. Ticket costs will match Museum Admission costs, with the option to purchase carnival activity tickets at the event. We are looking forward to sharing our love of palaeontology with the local community for a fourth year running!


DAY 1: AUGUST 10
10 am – 4 pm

Spend the day inside and outside our museum. Participate in scavenger hunts, fossil painting, carnival games, educational booths, fossil ID, and more.

DAY 2: AUGUST 11
10 am – 4 pm

Spend the day at Pipestone Creek Park. Enjoy a short hike to the bonebed, rock painting, science table talks, scavenger hunts, bug and plant identification, and more.
